THE “F5” (FASCINATING FACTOID FOR FANATICAL FLORIDIANS) –

Like pickleball or Tommy Bahama button-downs, Florida’s success is due in large part to its popularity among its wisest citizens. Specifically, people 65 and older. According to census data, the percentage of Floridians in that demographic is an impressive 20.7 percent! As much as we like to win, Florida can’t claim the top spot on the list. That title belongs to Maine which boasts a senior population of 21.2 percent.
